The Heart of Darkness story began during Founder & CEO John Pemberton’s time living in New York City during the 2000s, where he fell in love with the American craft beer scene and its never-ending pursuit of quality and innovation. Fast forward 10 years and that love materialized when Heart of Darkness was founded in 2016 by a group of friends living in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), with the goal of becoming Asia’s premium craft beer brand. Argubaly the most innovative brewery in Vietnam, the Heart of Darkness CANnon features 3 very unique beers from the brand’s core range – the bold and punchy Kurtz’s Insane IPA, the citrus and piney Dream Alone Pale Ale, and the smooth and delectable The River India Pale Ale.
